Caramel Apple Dr Pepper
Thursday dirty soda drop: caramel apple season, in a cup. I wanted that county-fair caramel-apple vibe without waiting in line, so I poured it over Dr Pepper.
Heads up: this post has a few Amazon links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. It keeps the ice cubes coming.
This Caramel Apple Dr Pepper is sweet, a little tart, and creamy on top. Two minutes, one glass, and it tastes like fall at a soda shop. If you’re out, I’ve got the exact words to order it below.
Why you’ll love it
- 2-minute build: syrups in first, soda, then cream.
- Real fair vibes: caramel + apple over spicy-cherry Dr Pepper.
- Easy to order out: soda shops and coffee bars already have the syrups.
Tips for the best pour
- Use pebble ice if you can; it packs tighter and keeps the cream floating.
- Caramel syrup first, then apple. Taste and add a second splash of caramel if you want it dessert-sweeter.
- Half-and-half is classic; coconut cream keeps it dairy-free and still cloudy.
Tools to use: caramel syrup and green apple syrup, both on Amazon. Basically a candy apple that fizzes. Any brand works.

Caramel Apple Dr Pepper
Ingredients
- 12 oz Dr Pepper chilled; or another cherry-cola soda
- 1 tbsp caramel syrup plus more to taste
- 1 tbsp apple syrup or 2 tsp concentrated apple cider syrup
- 1-2 tbsp half-and-half or coconut cream for the "dirty" cloud
- pebble ice or crushed ice to fill the cup
- thin apple slice optional garnish
- whipped cream and caramel drizzle optional, for a dessert finish
Instructions
- Fill a 16–20 oz cup with pebble ice.
- Pour in the caramel syrup and apple syrup.
- Add the Dr Pepper and give it one gentle stir so the syrups lift through the soda.
- Float the half-and-half or coconut cream on top. Garnish with an apple slice, and add whipped cream plus a caramel drizzle if you want it extra fair-stand. Sip right away.
